Located in an idyllic setting on the north west coast of Mauritius, the elegant and stylish Trou aux Biches offers spacious accommodation, superb choice of cuisine, a flawless beach and glistening lagoon - and all complemented by vivid sunsets.
Accommodation is in luxurious chalet-style Suites built in several crescents, each crescent with a large swimming pool in the centre. Categories include Junior and Tropical Junior Suites as well as larger Family Suites and Beach Front Suites, the latter with their own pool. Several two and three-bedroom Pool Villas (246m² & 290m²) are also available and nestled in the lush, tropical gardens.
Excellent dining options are available with a choice of no less than six restaurants. Four of these are located close to the main pool area. L'Oasis is the resort's main buffet restaurant; La Caravelle overlooks the beach and lagoon and includes live cooking stations; Blue Ginger offers Thai cuisine in a dramatic setting where light reflects on water; Mahiya provides traditional Indian dishes in surroundings representative of an Indian Palace; Il Corallo specialises in Italian cuisine from its spectacular location overlooking the beach; while Le Deck, situated just metres from the sea, is open for lunch and dinner and focusses on light meals.
Sports and leisure facilities are extensive at Trou aux Biches. The majority of these are complimentary and include a fully-equipped sports centre, floodlit tennis courts, as well as water sports such as kayaks, windsurfing, sailing and water skiing. A luxurious Spa by Clarins has 20 treatment cabins while the resort's Bob Marlin mini-club provides a choice of activities for younger guests as well as a teens club.
